This proposal aims to fund CeloPG, a Celo Builder team on a mission to accelerate the Celo ecosystem in line with the priorities of the Ethereum and Superchain ecosystems - in line with the Celo Governance Seasons Strategy. We contribute to Celo’s vision of becoming a digital regenerative economy with a budget of 282,000 cUSD and 700,000 CELO for the period of until July 31st. Unfortunately this Governance Call is Scheduled for January 30th at 16:00 UTC timezone. So it means that the Budget Request: CeloPG Season 0 forum post at the time of the call will be less than seven (7) days up for discussions in the Celo Forum (Post Date and hour is January 24th 15:20 UTC).

Will suggest you to keep engaging in the discussion in the forum and if you want to present your proposal in next Governance Call you will need to ask to be scheduled in the next one.

​@celogovernance we reviewed the Current Celo Governance Overview and Procedures you shared and don’t see any mention of a proposal needing to be up on the forum for 7 days to be discussed in the upcoming Governance Call. It does specify that it should be up for that duration to be voted on to collect sufficient feedback, which is understandable.

We strongly believe presenting this proposal in the next Governance call will allow us to get relevant stakeholder input and improve the proposal. Kindly request​ing to still be included.

However, as we transition towards a better framework for governance, we will allow this proposal to be presented in the next Governance Call while simultaneously working on more detailed guidelines for the governance process.
