Hii! Today I would to share how excited I’m with the proposal to build a DAO Latam by Celo, each day we see great projects in Latin America and I really believe that the most impact solutions for inequality, environmental crises and the gaps in education can be built here.

I’m Verber, a Brazilian lawyer, I work for 5 years in a humanitarian conflict caused exactly by the actual irresponsible model of production, that has destroyed rivers, forests, and traditional communities, like territories indigenous and quilombolas, and I can see how ReFi is a real necessity here.

On another side, I’m in Blockchain na Escola DAO - a project to build the acknowledgment of Blockchain and Web3 in Brazilian public education and too in Blcktopia - a project built for peripheral communities with a focus to build economic solutions and financial inclusion.

And in all this, I feel that Celo can be an important player in building solutions, alternatives, community power, and analysis, improving a vibrant environment of creativity and innovation created by truly disruptive realities, benefiting its entire Blockchain Ecosystem.

Go ahead Latam CELO!

It is truly commendable proposal for something incredible and I am personally so inspired by this. I, along with a few amazing tech entrepreneurs are too putting together an ensemble of amazing minds who would come together to build and deploy products together. Like the on-chain Justice League.

hi @MilaRioja and LATAM DAO team!

We at Blockchain na Escola also fully support the inception of the DAO. Being advocates of web3 onboarding for underserved communities in Brazil we know the specific challenges that we need to overcome to achieve this audience.

We think we could contribute to the DAO’s mission in many of the outlined focus areas and were wondering what would be the best way to collab.

We have even created a governance proposal, which @ericnakagawa accurately pointed out converges with what you guys are planning.

Could we schedule a call to think through how we can combine our efforts?
