Hello Celo community,
We’re Ultravioleta DAO, a Web3 community and DAO born in Latin America. Our project started in 2022 as a Twitch stream where we explored blockchain, governance, and decentralization in a very hands-on way. What began as an open learning space gradually evolved into a fully operating DAO. Today we are legally registered as a DAO LLC in Wyoming and continue to run daily community-driven activities. Most of our members are based in Colombia, with participation across several countries in LATAM.
A brief summary of what we’ve done with Celo so far:
• During a livestream with @0xj4an-work from Celo Colombia, we carried out a real-time CELO airdrop for all active participants. It became a practical onboarding moment for many people using Celo for the first time.
• At our Ultra Evento 2025 in Medellín, Celo Colombia joined us as a sponsor. As part of the activation, we helped all attendees set up their TuCOP wallets and sent them CCOP, the Colombian stablecoin built on Celo. This allowed newcomers to experience a local, usable digital asset on the spot.
We’re joining the forum to connect more closely with the Celo ecosystem. Our interests align strongly with Celo’s emphasis on real-world utility, accessibility, and community-focused building. We hope to contribute through education, governance experimentation, events, and LATAM onboarding initiatives.
