Introduction
I’m Luuk, also known as LuukDAO. I’ve been contributing to the Ethereum and Web3 space since 2017, starting as a community event organizer in the Netherlands as part of the Blockchain Talks team.
Since then, I’ve helped incubate, build, and grow dozens of projects. In 2020, I founded Kolektivo Labs, a Web 3.0 venture studio that aims to unleash the full potential of human coordination.
My purpose in life is to enable regeneration at scale. This vision made me start Kolektivo Network, a network creating local regenerative economies, and attracted me to Celo.
Since 2021, I’ve contributed to making Celo the digital regenerative economy, initially building Kolektivo and helping the ReFi space on Celo grow. In early 2023, I led the creation of Celo Europe DAO and got more involved in Celo Governance. Since 2024, I’ve led CeloPG, a builder team dedicated to attracting, nurturing, and growing projects on Celo to regenerate the network and treasury while creating the conditions for prosperity.
I’m fully dedicated to creating a digital regenerative economy and believe Celo is our best bet at realizing it.

Experience and Expertise
I have experience as a founder, analyst, asset manager, and ecosystem developer.
I founded Kolektivo Network on top of Celo, was part of the Climate Collective’s launching cohort, led S0 and S1 of Celo EU and still provide support to grow Celo in Europe, spearheaded the Celo Public Goods and Governance Improvement proposal, and currently lead Celo Public Goods.
In addition to the above roles, I’m a SafeDAO Guardian and co-founder of Superchain Eco and Regenerative.
Motivation
I’m committed entirely to enabling Regeneration at scale and wholeheartedly believe Celo’s vision to build a digital economy that creates conditions for all is a foundation required to realize my mission. As a Celo Builder, I want to support Celo’s development and good governance, and I believe my experience as a Web3 delegate and founder can help Celo progress.
Goals and Vision
My vision is for Celo to become THE digital regenerative economy.
- Becoming a shelling point for meaningful real-world adoption in the Superchain and the broader Ethereum ecosystem by collaborating with top-tier teams as committed as we are, such as Opera.
- To develop and implement regenerative solutions that create a thriving ecosystem and conditions of prosperity over time, such as Ultra Green money and Retro Public Goods Funding.
- Ensuring CELO becomes a widely used token that represents regenerative money and that the value generated by our ecosystem is reinvested where it matters most, such as USDGLO generating value to fund Celo Public Goods.
