For context, DeFi for the People supports project launches through the following ways:
- Grant/liquidity incentives
- Security audit by the Celo Foundation
- Usability review and testing
- Co-marketing (Medium announcement, Twitter spaces, etc.)
Updates From this Week
This week we had a few major announcements:
- Curve cEUR gauge proposal posted in partnership with Angle protocol to create a gauge for cEUR/agEUR/EUROC here
- Nikhil participated in a Twitter Spaces on the Future of DeFi in Providing Services to the Off-Chain Economy on July 7. Listen to the recording here.

Here’s also an update on other major items:
- Meeting with Aave community member next week to discuss risk methodology
- Nikhil will be participating in a Twitter Spaces organized by Popcorn the week of July 11.
- Drafting a manifesto on how DeFi fits within a vision for regenerative economies. Have shared the draft with several Celo DeFi builders
- Twitter Spaces with ZeroSwap scheduled for July 22 to discuss their recent launch on Celo
