Season 11 Planning Update - Marcomm


A brief update on Season 11 results, following this post from October.

  • The big news is that we shifted the brand evolution launch (and launch of Celo Block Party) to January due to market conditions. We felt like having some space from the current news cycle is the best way to optimize for a breakthrough launch. Excited to have this come to life next month!

  • We supported launches for Curve, Consensys, Infura, DT Hackathon, Celo Camp Batch 6 and more. The Curve launch in particular drove 8X our normal engagement on social media.

  • Crypto-native and mainstream T1 coverage, including the following highlights: (1) Cointelegraph’s “Celo ecosystem projects raise $77.3M in support of interoperability, ReFi” (10/27), (2) CoinDesk’s “Mobile-Focused Blockchain Celo Partners With Ethereum Software Firm ConsenSys” (11/21), (3) Crypties’ coverage in the NYT, among other publications, and (4) Celo Foundation President Rene Reinsberg’s segment in CNBC’s Crypto World, recapping 2022 and sharing his outlook for 2023.

  • SF Salon was a huge hit!

  • Deepened Founder connections both virtually and IRL in Africa (EthSafari), Asia (EthIndia) as well as LATAM (DevCon) which also included the launch of Casa Celo Bogota.
