Hello everyone,
We launched CupMaster on MiniPay last week with the goal of making the World Cup experience more interactive. Instead of just checking scores and fixtures, users were able to predict match outcomes, create their own group standings, and build full tournament brackets. On top of that, we included mini-games like trivia, guess the player, and other simple but addictive formats to keep people engaged throughout the tournament.
In the first week alone, CupMaster reached 6,017 users, generated 3,056 onchain transactions, saw 10,653 games played, and recorded 61,257 predictions made. These early numbers validated that users are not just trying the app, but actively engaging with multiple features on a daily basis.
What made CupMaster different is that everything was connected into one system. Predictions, games, and brackets all fed into points, badges, and a global leaderboard, so users were constantly competing and progressing. We also introduced a badge system with tiers (bronze, silver, gold) for things like prediction accuracy, streaks, and activity, which added a strong progression layer and made the experience more rewarding.
We designed CupMaster to be simple and accessible, especially for users who are not familiar with Web3. The idea was to make it feel like a normal mobile app, while rewards and progression happened in the background. With a global event like the World Cup driving engagement, this approach helped create a product that users kept coming back to daily.
This is just the start, but the early traction shows the potential. The goal remains the same: turn football fandom into something interactive, competitive, and actually fun to play.
