I’m reaching out to inform you about an important step towards sunsetting of the Optics v2 Bridge and to guide you through the process of swapping your Optics tokens to the Portal Wormhole tokens. This migration step is required for anyone holding Optics tokens.
Here’s a step-by-step guide to assist you through this important process:
Access the Migration Portal: Begin by visiting Portal Bridge. This is the dedicated page for migrating Celo tokens.
Connect Your Wallet: On the migration page, connect your wallet. This step is essential for verifying your ownership and enabling the migration process.
Choose Your Asset Type: After connecting your wallet, select the type of asset you want to migrate. The supported assets for this migration are USDC, DAI, and ETH.
Proceed with Migration: Complete the process by migrating your selected tokens. This will move your tokens from those held in the Optics protocol to those held by the Portal Wormhole protocol.
Important Note: The Optics bridge will eventually be sunset. Alternative bridges for you to consider can be found here. The tool to assist migrating to the Portal Wormhole bridge is a critical step in this transition. It’s designed to assist community members to swap seamlessly.
