Governance Approver Rotation Correction: Re-add Eran Tromer, Remove Kobi Gurkan

Dear Celo Community,

Following the execution of [CGP-243]( governance/CGPs/cgp-0243.md at main · celo-org/governance · GitHub ), we identified an incorrect address in the Governance Approver rotation section of [Next Steps for Strengthening Celo Governance]( Next Steps for Strengthening Celo Governance ).

The address listed for Kobi Gurkan (`0xC85639289D4Bbb5F90e380A0f4db6B77a2F777bF`) is the address of Eran Tromer. Kobi Gurkan’s correct address is `0xFD74A4b05F12B9aB6020CB202aDE1BBa4Bc99aba`.

As a result, the rotation executed by the Governance Approver multisig removed Eran Tromer instead of Kobi Gurkan. All other changes (Rob Witoff rotating out; Javier Cortejoso, Paul Lange, Marcin Majchrzak and Pavel Hornak joining) were executed as intended.

Proposed Correction

To align the Governance Approver multisig with the intended rotation, we will submit a follow-up temperature check proposal to:

- Re-add Eran Tromer – 0xC85639289D4Bbb5F90e380A0f4db6B77a2F777bF

- Remove Kobi Gurkan – 0xFD74A4b05F12B9aB6020CB202aDE1BBa4Bc99aba

If passed, the multisig will execute a single `replaceOwner` call on itself. The signer count remains 14 and the threshold remains 3. The current membership can be verified with `celocli multisig:show 0x41822d8A191fcfB1cfcA5F7048818aCd8eE933d3`.

We apologize to Eran and Kobi for the confusion and thank both for their service to Celo Governance.

Thanks for this, on a side note should also Mondo Approval box on the frontend be fixed?

Currently it dosn’t look right the approval representation. Example: 309: Celo Challenger Operator Funding | Celo Mondo | Staking & Governance for Celo

hi, it makes sense to fix the error asap. When will this be submitted for voting?
