Alive Nature’s mission is to provide a platform where small farmers can pre-fund their carbon credits and trade them as NFTs. By leveraging blockchain technology, we aim to make carbon credits more accessible and transparent, while promoting sustainable practices in carbon offset projects.
Currently, Alive Nature is operating in Brazil and Canada, with our first project launched with the Vale do Carbono team in Brazil. The Vale do Carbono project (Carbon Valley) is focused on developing the Brazilian Northeast by combining technology and sustainability. It serves economic, social, and sustainable aspects by promoting balanced production, environmental preservation, and information technology for traceability and value chain generation.
One of the biggest differentials of Alive Nature is our unique approach to empowering carbon credit projects by allowing them to deploy their own smart contracts using a non-custodial wallet.
Unlike traditional carbon credit platforms that rely on centralized intermediaries, Alive Nature provides a decentralized solution that gives each project the freedom to create and manage their own smart contract. This allows projects to have full ownership and control over their carbon credits, without relying on third parties.
In the next phase of our roadmap, Alive Nature will be deploying a DAO (Decentralized Autonomous Organization), where supporters of our projects can participate in the decision-making process and choose which projects become part of our ecosystem. This democratic approach ensures that the community’s voices are heard and that the projects align with our collective vision of promoting sustainability and environmental conservation.
