We appreciate the intention behind the Celo Kreiva DAO proposal and its commitment to empowering creative contributors within the Celo ecosystem. The structured grant pools, defined KPIs, and reporting plans show a well-organized approach to supporting artists and digital creators. We recognize the team’s enthusiasm and potential to positively impact the creative economy on Celo.
However, we are voting AGAINST the proposal due to its premature scope and large funding request without a proven track record. The value-add services such as mentorship and visibility remain untested, and we believe a smaller pilot would help demonstrate their effectiveness. The limited confirmed partnerships and current weak market conditions also raise concerns about attracting high-quality applicants at this stage. We would like to see a focused pilot or proof-of-concept before scaling to full funding.
