Consensus update - dates to know

Hi everyone,

The current dates for the consensus update activation blocks are:

  • Baklava: October 12th, 16:30 - 17:00 UTC (9:30 - 10:00am PST)
  • Alfajores: October 19th, 16:30 - 17:00 UTC (9:30 - 10:00am PST)
  • Mainnet: November 8th, 16:30 - 17:00 UTC (8:30 - 9:00am PST)

Version 1.7.0-beta.1 for Baklava has already been released, which all Baklava validators should upgrade to. Thanks to those who have already upgraded! If everything goes well, we’ll go ahead with adding the activation blocks for Alfajores and Mainnet over the next few weeks in the final 1.7.0 release. The best place to go for updates and questions is the validators-operators Discord channel!
