Celo Regional Council is helping shape prosperity for all — from the ground up. Our work focuses on opening pathways for global onboarding and guiding people, builders, and communities into the ecosystem’s initiatives.
Over the past months, we’ve been setting a precedent for how regional hubs can work hand in hand with Celo Foundation and DevRel team, understanding local needs and translating them into bridges for larger adoption.
From onboarding and education to solution creation, the Council has been helping bring Celo to places where blockchain had never arrived before. Local activations, tailored workshops, and accessible resources are building a foundation for a more inclusive digital economy — one that truly reflects the “prosperity for all” vision.
Celo has entered its winning era — leading in real-world impact, bringing new users on-chain, and building the rails for a trillion-dollar on-chain economy by 2030. The Regional Council is helping lay the bricks for that future: connecting regions, aligning incentives, and turning ideas into long-term infrastructure for communities.
We’re shaping the steps of a new digital renaissance — where small first steps in remote towns evolve into full ecosystems of builders, entrepreneurs, and innovators who can access education, funding, and the tools to create new systems that serve people.
Each region is now developing flywheels of adoption — onboarding new users, hosting workshops, and connecting startups to Celo’s open infrastructure. Together, we’re showing what it means to build prosperity from the ground up.
The Regional Council remains value-driven and focused on incubating and evangelizing core initiatives such as Self, CxAI, CPG, Proof of Ship, Prezenti and others — ensuring these innovations and programs reach more people across Africa, Asia, Europe, and LATAM through local hubs that make coordination real and adoption widespread.
This Week on the Ground
This last weeks, we have been aligning with Celo Foundation and DevRel around several key fronts — from preparing for Celo Gather Buenos Aires led by @celatam during DevConnect and improvements for supporting the next season of Proof of Ship, where regional councils will help review and mentor projects from their regions.
Special thanks to @GigeHierz for providing guidance and helping strengthen global coordination.
The Regional council’s marketing team also presented new materials and kits to help communicate consistently along with a social media content calendar to expand our voice. Also, new collaborations were discussed to connect builders in the future to programs like Startup Pathway, expanding the learning curve beyond hackathons.
Momentum is picking up, and we’ll start sharing weekly updates here in the forum — short, transparent recaps to keep the community informed of our ongoing coordination and activities around the world.
