Just to expand a bit on this comment and provide context to Celo Gather. I’ve been assigned as the lead of Events and Community Development, and my main focus has been putting together Celo Gather, our Celo Ecosystem conference.
Celo Gather TLDR
During Berlin Blockchain Week, We’re organizing Celo Gather, a Celo Ecosystem conference and stakeholder gathering. The event will kick off on the 23rd with an opening reception. On the 24th of March, we’ll organize a one-day conference to bring together about 150 curated key Celo stakeholders to share insight, explore the current crossroads, and ensure future alignment across the whole ecosystem. The space will feature a main stage, breakout rooms, different content structures, and ample networking opportunities. After an eventful day, we’ll finish with networking drinks at a rooftop bar.
Budget Update
After receiving most of our offers from event partners and logistics, we’ve run the numbers and realized that we must increase the initial estimated budget by $10,000 to facilitate the event. Below is a more detailed breakdown of expected events costs and their respective allocation:
