Celo Communities Guild Reports - September & October 2025
GM Celorians!
As we crossed into autumn, the Celo Communities Guild entered a phase of consistency and delivery. September and October were about keeping our foot on the gas pedal, making sure our incentive structures stayed on track, our systems stayed clean, and our community remained supported and heard.
These two months weren’t flashy, but they were solid. And in a space that often swings between highs and lulls, that kind of stable, forward-moving activity is exactly what we needed. Let’s break it down. ![]()
General
Guild.xyz: Steady Participation, Stronger Competition
With our reward structure now well-established, Guild.xyz kept humming along smoothly throughout both months. The 800 CELO monthly reward pool continued to be distributed to the top 10 most active members, and we saw the same pattern emerge in both September and October:
- A competitive top 10, often with new names pushing into the lead
- Consistent mid-pack contributors staying engaged week after week
- A steady trickle of new joiners testing the waters and getting a feel for the system
It’s become clear that the leaderboard has moved beyond being a novelty, it’s now a core feature of community life for many Celorians.
Celo Community Badge: Monthly Snapshots Continue
Following the August integration of the Celo Community Badge into the Prosperity Pass, we continued collecting and organizing monthly snapshots of eligible contributors.
We’re thankful for the collaboration with the CeloPG team, who ensured the badge stayed dynamically linked to Guild.xyz participation a key signal of ongoing contribution. While exporting member data hasn’t always been seamless due to platform transitions, we are aiming to introduce again this badge soon, depending on Guild.xyz developments.
Moderator Syncs
We held our monthly moderator calls on September 11 and October 8 , using the time to:
- Review badge + leaderboard processes.
- Align on any user moderation issues (thankfully minimal).
These check-ins helped us stay aligned and responsive.
Community Hangouts
- September 5, September 19 and October 3, October 17 were our Community Hangout days.
- While not record-breaking in terms of turnout, both calls offered meaningful opportunities for open conversation, feedback on quests, and suggestions on how to better highlight long-term contributors.
- A few new faces joined in, and we’re optimistic about growing participation again with new interactive formats in the coming months.

-
Message Count: Activity remained moderate throughout September and October, focused mostly on event announcements, ecosystem news, and casual updates
-

Final Thoughts
September and October weren’t loud, but they were meaningful. We showed up, delivered rewards, kept our channels healthy, and continued building the foundation for what comes next.
With end-of-year planning now underway, our focus will shift toward closing the year strong: refining quests, testing new community formats, and documenting all the learnings from 2025 so far.
Let’s keep building. ![]()
