Celo Communities Guild Reports - May 2025
GM Celorians!
May rolled in with that early-summer buzz—and the Celo Communities Guild kept the tempo up. With ongoing Guild.xyz activity, the close of our first sticker design contest, and continued collaboration across the ecosystem, this month was all about nurturing momentum and wrapping up key initiatives.
We stayed focused, consistent, and just the right amount of creativity. Here’s the recap.
General
Guild.xyz Keeps the Pulse Going
May marked the third month of our expanded Guild.xyz reward structure, and participation remained lively. The 600 Celo monthly reward pool continued to motivate members to stay active, contribute meaningfully, and help keep the conversation flowing across Discord.
As in previous months, we saw a healthy mix of familiar faces and new contenders on the leaderboard—proof that the format is working as a steady incentive engine, not just a one-time boost.
Sticker Contest Wraps Up
After weeks of submissions, feedback, and buzz, the Celo Sticker Pack Contest officially closed in late May. The variety and creativity of the entries blew us away—everything from abstract minimalism to wild Celo-meme mashups made it into the final batch.
The sticker design contest has concluded. Judges have made their decisions, winners have been declared in the Discord server, and prizes have been distributed. We anticipate a significant enhancement to our sticker collection as a result.
May Moderator Call
We held our monthly mod call on May 21 and May 30, touching base on moderation standards, leaderboard verification workflows, and sticker contest follow-up. We also briefly discussed improving onboarding touchpoints for new users entering the Discord server via Guild.xyz links.
May Community Hangout
This month’s Community Hangout took place on May 2nd and May 30, and as usual, it offered a laid-back space to chat updates, share sticker contest favorites, and swap thoughts on Celo ecosystem happenings. With summer approaching, the vibe was easygoing and open-ended—a reminder that a community doesn’t always need a strict agenda to thrive.
