UPCOMING SESSION

New Partnerships and Infrastructure Allocation

We’re thrilled to announce our latest partnership with LAGOS STATE WASTE MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY (LAWMA), LAGOS STATE DISTRICT IV as mentioned in our previous update and we have began talks with MINIPAY as regards integration. This collaboration will help streamline our recycling process and make it easier for community members to participate.

Additionally, we have formalized the partnerships with:

  • 18 local schools to implement recycling education programs and collection point
  • 2 environmental organizations to expand our reach and resources
  • 2 dApps built on Celo WASSET AND BITGIFTY

These partnerships will significantly boost our capacity to make a positive impact on our environment.

Infrastructure Preparation

To support our growing initiatives, we’re investing in our infrastructure:

  • Expanding our storage centre to accommodate increased collection volumes. (Finalized stages)
  • Upgrading our sorting equipment to improve efficiency by an estimated 25% through our partnership with WASSET (Currently in Progress)
  • Implementing a new tracking system to better monitor our recycling impact.(In development)

What’s Next

Building on our previous goals, we’re setting ambitious targets for the coming months:

  1. Launch a mobile app to help community members locate recycling points and track their contributions
  2. Initiate a 5 pilot program for door-to-door recycling collection in selected neighborhoods
  3. Develop a school curriculum on recycling and environmental conservation for our partner schools
  4. Explore partnerships with local businesses to implement recycling programs in workplaces

We’re also researching innovative recycling technologies that could potentially increase our recycling efficiency by up to 40%.
