πŸ’§ BioWater & Real-World Oracles: Grassroots ReFi in Latin America Nov 21 Pilot

Hi Celo Community,

We are sharing our field infrastructure project, Agua Viva Samaipata (BioWater), developed on the ground in Bolivia in collaboration with the local cooperative COOPFLOR R.L.

We have engineered a world-class field pilot that serves real human lives. Our system bridges environmental health, public health, and blockchain architecture as a front gate for regenerative finance.

:rocket: What We Are Building:

  • The Infrastructure: Mobile, modular bio-hydration units processing biocompatible water using a specialized, low-entropy molecular restructuring design.

  • The DePIN Network: Hardware nodes and connected sensors/oracles that log ecological indicators (plastic bottles avoided, water quality) directly on-chain.

  • The Ground Reality: We successfully onboarded a collective of supporters with a 78% technology activation rate (41 active individual wallets out of 52 participants) during a two weeks donation window, with the purpose to get a reward for local efforts under Giveth/Stellar Quadratic Funding.

:high_voltage: Facing the Legacy Algorithmic Cleavage

But rigid automated scripts penalized our organic human dynamic, leaving us without the promised support.

We documented this entire case study on how mathematical rigidity harms grassroots adoption here: The Algorithmic Coup on Giveth: How Web3 Bureaucracy Silences Real-World ReFi .

:date: Call for Strategic Partnerships & Flori Ventures Support

Our major deployment milestone is scheduled for November 21st with local citizens, institutions, and scientific partners.

We are looking for an agile, mobile-first, and vision-aligned ecosystem like Celo to anchor our hardware node network and scale this Oracle-driven model globally.

We are actively open to strategic grants, community feedback, and connections with impact funds such as Flori Ventures who understand that technology must serve life.

Let’s discuss how we can align our November 21st pilot with Celo’s mission!
