I thought the main MiniPay balance is meant to only show dollar tokens, so I would not expect the XAUt0 value to show up there. Do you see it in the “Buy Gold” app?

Import your minipay wallet into another wallet like Trust wallet and recover it (you also need to top up some CELO). You can find you seed phrase in the About section.
