While I’m not a technical expert, I wanted to chime in because the Alfajores testnet was officially deprecated back in September 2025. The network has been replaced by the Celo Sepolia Testnet. [1, 2]
Using an inactive network is highly likely what’s causing those consistent connection drops during state changes! I’d highly recommend migrating your project and updating your RPC endpoints to the new Sepolia setup. You can check out the official Celo Network Overview Documentation to get the new Chain ID and configurations.
