The @celo/wallet-rpc was created to facilitate signing transactions via the personal_ rpc methods. These methods have been removed from geth
As such we plan to sunset the package following a 2 week notice period that begins with this post. We look forward to your feedback in this time.
Following that we will add the deprecation notice to the next release of the @celo/wallet-rpc.
We will then offer security patches for a 1 month period.
If you use this package in our workflows we recommend to follow this guide for the alternative.
