Hi @Prezenti.grants, thanks for the clarity on Peach Round :peach:.

We have two quick questions about the :fire: Boost Pool:

  1. The criteria mention a “proven track record in other ecosystems.” Could you clarify why this requirement is prioritized? It seems to favor external traction rather than supporting projects already building natively on Celo.

  2. In Colombia, we already have live projects with real users actively adopting cCOP like @TuCopFinance, @Buckspay, cPiggy, Inhabit, and much more… While they may not yet reach the 10k daily txn threshold, they are driving critical, on-the-ground growth for Celo in a key market. How can we include Colombian projects in the Boost Pool invitation process, so they can scale and grow toward future eligibility for Growth and Scale Pools, while also helping Celo gain more traction with our local support?

Thanks in advance for your reply. :yellow_heart: :flexed_biceps:

Hi CELO Forum community!

:seedling: After 4 years of development, we have launched the INHABIT Corridor Project—our ReFi campaign to finance the first biocultural hub in Colombia, grounded in a pioneering stewardship-based land tenure and conservation model.

:globe_showing_europe_africa:INHABIT creates a living Corridor where lands are legally protected under the Rights of Nature, regenerate through long-term restoration programs, and sustained by Stewards who hold blockchain-verified NFTs that grant lifelong rights, benefits, and access to the ecological and cultural value generated of these territories.

Hi @CeloColombiano

Thanks for reaching out!

The Boost pool is a new endeavour that serves a specific purpose. Essentially an avenue for Dev Rel and foundation to be able to incentivize projects. Another tool in their toolkit, if you will.

In regards to your questions,

  1. proven track record in other ecosystems” could be interpreted in a few ways and is intentionally worded in a way that allows discretion. Some examples may be:
  • Sustainable revenue
  • Transaction count that meets one or more of the stages from the season one intent
  • Significant TVL that would benefit Celo
  • Would complement one of the core driving applications within the ecosystem like MiniPay, Self etc

It may also be for Celo ecosystem projects but the intention is to help projects that do not necessarily rely on grants as the only way to move forward or continue operations.

  1. This is excellent to hear and agree the 10k daily tx threshold is quite high(intentionally). There are other avenues where projects not yet at this stage that they could benefit from like Proof of Ship, hackathons and Celo Public Goods.

There is no path to getting invited but if they show up, are active, can clearly articulate externally how they would be able to reach some of those higher stage prerequisites it would increase their chance of being selected.

We hope this answers your queries and feel free to reach out anytime!

Excellent to hear and congratulations!
