Prezenti Season 3 Is Open: Frontier, Anchor and Boost Grants for Celo

Prezenti Season 3 Is Open: Frontier, Anchor and Boost Grants for Celo

Application window: August 12–December 29, 2026

Prezenti Season 3 is now open.

This season is built around a straightforward principle: grant funding should produce outcomes that the Celo community can independently verify.

That may mean infrastructure other teams can build on, measurable transaction and TVL growth, greater use of MiniPay’s distribution, or increased revenue for the Celo network. What matters is that the contribution is real, attributable and supported by evidence, not vanity metrics or broad promises about future adoption.

Season 3 has three distinct funding paths:

  1. Frontier: AI and agent economy infrastructure deployed on Celo
  2. Anchor: Proven products capable of materially growing transactions, TVL and chain revenue
  3. Boost: Targeted, referral-only support for teams identified by Prezenti, Celo Core contributors or Celo Developer Relations

Applicants should apply to the pool that most accurately reflects their project’s current stage, traction and intended contribution.

Frontier Pool: AI and Agent Economy Infrastructure

The Frontier Pool is focused on projects that strengthen Celo’s position as infrastructure for the emerging agent economy.

We are interested in areas including:

  • Agent identity and discovery: Onchain registries, reputation systems and discovery protocols that help agents find, assess and verify one another.
  • Agent-to-agent transaction infrastructure: Payment channels, escrow systems, micropayment rails and settlement mechanisms designed for autonomous operation.
  • AI-native developer tooling: SDKs, frameworks, middleware and operational tooling that make it easier to build, deploy and manage agents on Celo.
  • Verification and trust infrastructure: Systems for verifying agent outputs, enforcing accountability and proving that actions occurred as claimed.
  • Interoperability infrastructure: Bridges, adapters and protocol translators connecting Celo-based agents with other networks, services and offchain AI systems.

We are not prescribing a particular technology stack. We are looking for teams that understand the problem space deeply and are building infrastructure that other agents, developers or projects would depend on.

A standalone application does not become infrastructure simply by being described as “agentic.” Applicants must clearly explain who will use the infrastructure, why they need it and how adoption will begin.

Frontier applicants should demonstrate:

  • A working deployment on Celo mainnet
  • Verifiable onchain activity associated with the deployed infrastructure
  • A credible technical architecture and a deep understanding of the problem being addressed
  • A clear activation path for the first 10 to 100 agents or users
  • A realistic distribution strategy, supported by evidence from this project or prior work
  • A meaningful contribution to Celo’s capabilities as a platform for AI and agent activity
  • Public technical documentation, verified contracts or open-source code wherever possible
  • An ERC-8004 registration for agent projects, except where the project is clearly AI infrastructure rather than an agent
  • Use of, or a commitment to integrate, Self Protocol’s Agent ID for verifiable and sybil-resistant agent identity

We welcome the efficient and effective use of AI and agentic development tools. However, we will not fund low-effort, superficially assembled projects whose technical claims, deployment or adoption cannot be independently verified.

A working demo is strongly encouraged.

Anchor Pool: Scaling Proven Products on Celo

The Anchor Pool is for teams that already have meaningful traction and can demonstrate a credible path to materially increasing activity on Celo.

For Season 3, Anchor funding will prioritise projects that can contribute to one or more of the following Celo-wide goals:

  • Grow daily transactions on Celo
  • Grow sustainable TVL on Celo
  • Use MiniPay’s distribution to reach more users
  • Increase revenue generated by activity on Celo

Payments, gaming, trading, social and other high-frequency applications may be particularly well positioned to use MiniPay’s distribution. However, category alone is not enough. Applicants must show how the proposed work will produce measurable outcomes for Celo.

Minimum traction requirement

Anchor applicants must currently demonstrate at least 5,000 daily transactions, measured as a two-week moving average on any chain.

The transaction count must be supported by independently verifiable evidence. Applicants must explain exactly which contracts, addresses and transaction types are included in the calculation.

Projects that do not meet this threshold should not submit an Anchor application.

Project stage Current daily transactions
Stage 1 5,000–9,999
Stage 2 10,000–99,999
Stage 3 100,000–499,999
Stage 4 500,000+

Applicants will be assessed against the stage they select. Growth targets and milestones must be proportionate to the project’s current activity.

Anchor applications must explain:

  • The project’s current two-week average daily transaction count
  • How those transactions have been counted
  • Which contracts and addresses can be used to verify current and future activity
  • How the grant will increase daily transactions on Celo
  • Current TVL and the methodology used to calculate it
  • How the project will generate net new TVL, where applicable
  • How the project will contribute to Celo protocol revenue
  • Whether the project is already listed on MiniPay
  • The status of any discussions with MiniPay regarding onboarding or distribution
  • The actual demand for the product and the competitive landscape
  • The team’s experience and demonstrated ability to execute
  • Previous Celo ecosystem funding and the outcomes produced by that funding
  • Realistic revenue projections, including any fees the project intends to charge

TVL projections must be based on net assets deposited into protocols, denominated in USD and measured without double-counting assets or including idle tokens held in externally owned accounts.

Chain revenue forecasts should be based on expected monthly usage and clearly stated assumptions. Applicants should distinguish between revenue earned by the project and revenue attributable to activity on Celo.

Milestones and payment

Approved Anchor grants will receive:

  • 20% upon execution of the grant agreement
  • 80% following successful completion and verification of the agreed milestones

The final payment is not automatic. It will depend on the project meeting the measurable targets agreed during the grant process.

Milestones should identify:

  1. The target or deliverable
  2. The TVL increase objective, where applicable
  3. The daily transaction increase objective
  4. The expected monthly contribution to Celo chain revenue
  5. The contract address, dashboard or other independently verifiable proof

Boost Pool: Targeted and Referral-Only Support

The Boost Pool is not an open general application pool.

Teams should only submit a Boost application when they have been directly referred by:

  • The Prezenti team
  • Celo Core contributors
  • The Celo Developer Relations team

Applicants must provide the name and email address of the person who referred them.

Boost is intended for targeted opportunities where a team has a defined plan, a credible opportunity to benefit Celo and a clear reason why a smaller or more focused intervention can unlock measurable progress.

Boost applicants will be asked to provide:

  • Current daily transaction activity and supporting evidence
  • A clear description of what the funding will be used for
  • The intended benefit to Celo
  • A working demo wherever possible
  • Information about previous Celo ecosystem funding
  • Evidence of prior delivery and relevant ecosystem relationships
  • A KarmaGAP profile and the addresses or contracts used to verify progress

Applications submitted without an eligible referral will not be considered through the Boost Pool.

Eligible teams will receive the application link directly from their referrer.

How Season 3 Applications Will Be Assessed

Although each pool serves a different purpose, our assessment will consistently focus on:

Verifiability

Claims about deployments, transactions, TVL, users, integrations and prior performance must be supported by evidence that Prezenti and the wider community can independently review.

Contribution to Celo

Applicants must explain why the proposed work matters specifically to Celo. General ecosystem activity or growth on another network is not, by itself, a contribution to Celo.

Technical credibility

Teams should demonstrate that they understand the technical problem, have chosen a credible approach and are capable of delivering what they propose.

Distribution and adoption

Building the product is only part of the work. Applicants must explain how users, developers or agents will discover it, begin using it and continue using it after the grant ends.

Measurable outcomes

Milestones should describe completed outcomes rather than internal activity. “Build a feature” is less meaningful than showing that the feature is deployed, accessible and producing measurable use.

Previous funding and delivery

Prior Celo ecosystem funding must be disclosed. We will consider whether previous commitments were completed, whether funds were fully distributed and what measurable outcomes were produced.

Required Grant Delivery Information

Applicants should be prepared to:

  • Agree to Prezenti’s grant policies
  • Complete the required KYC process
  • Provide the legal jurisdiction in which the company or entity is registered
  • Provide a lead contact and private delivery email
  • Supply a Celo L2 address for grant payments
  • Provide relevant contract addresses for tracking progress
  • Maintain an up-to-date KarmaGAP profile
  • Provide a high-resolution project logo for communications if selected

Prezenti is a Canadian entity and must conduct grant delivery in accordance with applicable Canadian legal and compliance requirements.

Important Dates

Applications open: August 12, 2026
Applications close: December 29, 2026

Applicants should leave enough time to provide complete evidence, correct any issues with their KarmaGAP profile and ensure that all submitted links, contracts and demonstrations are accessible.

Incomplete applications, unverifiable claims and applications submitted to a pool whose minimum requirements are not met may be declined without progressing to a full review.

Questions and Support

We recognise that some projects may sit near the boundary between pools.

Before applying, please read the criteria carefully and select the pool that reflects the project as it exists today—not the stage the team hopes to reach after receiving funding.

Season 3 is deliberately focused. We are looking for working systems, credible teams and measurable contributions that make Celo more useful, more active and better positioned for the next phase of onchain adoption.

We look forward to reviewing what the community is building.
