The Celo project team planned to build an incineration system around the end of 2025.
Although the interests of holders who continuously purchase Celo and node operators who wish to receive incentives instead of burning Celo conflict to some extent,I believe Celo’s market capitalization has currently hit its lowest point in years and has fallen so low that recovery is no longer possible.
As a result, there are concerns that new project teams will not seek out Celo, and I believe that holders will suffer losses, and node operators think that prices will soon drop to a point where Celo is no longer generating significant profits.
While the development of the network is certainly very important, I propose that we quickly establish a burning system for a portion of node operating profits to prevent further loss of trust.
