We are excited to share the latest performance update from cKash, our self-custodial digital payments wallet focused on driving real stablecoin adoption and everyday utility across Africa. Today, we are also thrilled to announce that we have received a Prezenti Almond Grant. This support strengthens the work we’ve already begun, especially in growing our user base and advancing our mission to build simple, self-custodial payment experiences for Africa. With this boost, we are even better positioned to scale our impact across the continent.
Over the past month, cKash has continued to show steady and meaningful progress. From the Google Play Store, the app has recorded 1500+ total installs, with over 300 monthly active users and an average of 25 daily active users. These external metrics align closely with our internal analytics, which are tracked through live in-app events routed via Segment into Mixpanel.

Transaction activity continues to grow at a healthy pace. cKash has facilitated more than 994 transactions internally, averaging 149 monthly transactions, and surpassing 1,000 total transactions across all aggregated tracking sources. Corresponding transaction volume has climbed beyond $10,000, with an additional $3,000 in off-ramp volume processed through Pretium. These figures reflect real, everyday usage and reinforce our commitment to enabling seamless digital value transfer across Africa. Our activity is also visible on Divvi through

On the community front, cKash’s visibility across social platforms continues to rise. Our X (Twitter) presence generated more than 60,000 impressions and attracted over 400 followers, demonstrating strong engagement and brand recognition. TikTok delivered over 1,000 impressions, Instagram crossed 500 impressions, and LinkedIn grew to more than 40 followers, each contributing to expanding our reach and introducing more users to the cKash ecosystem.
Looking ahead, our roadmap includes key product improvements designed to enhance accessibility and financial empowerment. In the coming weeks, we plan to roll out merchant payment capabilities, expanded off-ramp options, QR code payments, cross-border stablecoin transfers, savings and micro-investment features, improved onboarding flows, and stronger fraud and risk monitoring systems. These updates will further solidify cKash as a leading gateway for accessible digital finance on Celo.
