There’s not nearly enough! This really makes our chain seem second rate
. Someone please provide liquidity for these tokens, so we can make some progress in establishing ourselves as a major player in defi.
On Arbitrum, there’s a ton of Eth and Btc available at a good price. On Celo there’s almost nothing.
We need to have large quantities w Btc and Eth, along with most other actively traded cryptos (sol, doge, link, Pepe, aave, shib, ftm, pnut, dot, wif, )
Maybe we can get opera corp, mento protocol, the Celo foundation, or some large holder of Celo to help make this happen; we need at least $1 million pumped into the system, because as it is right now, celo’s defi environment is chock full of tumbleweeds; it’s bad for our reputation, and it is making it very tough for us to compete with other chains and reach our goal of ultimately becoming a true go to ethereum L2. This is such a shame considering how superior Celo is to other chains in so many ways; we have developed something truly exceptional, but I fear that it won’t go too far if we continue on our current path and don’t explore options for increasing our popularity.
