# I. Summary
[learn.tg](https://learn.tg) is a gamified educational platform where students (verified with self) earn rewards for completing guides and crossword puzzles. We are building a circular economy where learning finances more learning.
SLEARN is a non‑transferable utility token on **Celo** , designed for the **pdJ ecosystem** , which includes:
- [learn.tg](https://learn.tg) – earn SLEARN by learning.
- [sivel.xyz](https://sivel.xyz) – document human rights violations on Celo (donors earn Learning Points).
- [stable-sl.pdJ.app](https://stable-sl.pdJ.app) – an on‑ramp / off‑ramp for **Sierra Leone** that will, in a future phase, allow users to redeem SLEARN for local currency (Leones, SLE) and give cashback in SLEARN.
Worldwide, SLEARN can be earned and burned for premium courses. It is not a tradable cryptocurrency. In Sierra Leone, after the redemption feature is activated, it will be possible to exchange it for SLE.

### 3.1 Fund Inflow and Distribution (Donations & Premium Payments)
Capital enters the system via directed donations or premium payments.
#### 3.1.1 Concrete example of a 10 USDT donation (assuming 1 USD = 22 SLE)
1. 7 USDT go to the donated course vault: 3.5 USDT finance 3.5 scholarships
(1 USDT each) and 3.5 USDT go to the SLEARN reserve to mint 77 SLEARN
to finance 77 scholarships (1 SLEARN each).
2. 0.5 USDT funds learn.tg operations.
3. 1 USDT to the SLEARN reserve and 22 SLEARN minted for the user as credit
for their own learning.
4. 0.5 USDT automatically support free missional courses (half USDT to vault and half
to SLEARN reserve).
5. 0.5 USDT feed the UBI (in CELO) and Referrals Fund for daily community rewards.
6. 0.5 USDT to the fund for churches registered in learn.tg and verified
#### 3.1.2 Example with a 10 USDT Premium Course Payment
The model also activates when a user pays to access an exclusive course.
The price is dynamic, adjusted according to the student’s country development
index, promoting fairness. A percentage of this payment is converted into
SLEARN for the paying student and is used to finance more scholarships.
This mechanism ensures that every investment in one’s own education directly
contributes to platform sustainability, personal incentive, scholarship
creation, and the missional fund, creating a powerful virtuous cycle of
growth.

### 4. Stability and Reserve Backing
To protect users from volatility, SLEARN employs a dual-reference stability framework.
1. **Reserve Backing Rule:** Every SLEARN is minted only when equivalent value
(minimum 1/22 USDT that is around 4.5 cents of dollar) is deposited into the SLE reserve.
2. **Asset Mix:** Backing consists of **USDT** (liquidity), **CELO** (ecosystem),
and **XAUT** (strategic gold reserve to hedge against fiat inflation).
3. **Stability Formula:** 1 SLEARN is pegged to 1 Sierra Leone Leone (SLE). To
protect against devaluation, we apply:

4. **Reserve Surplus and Ecosystem Reinvestment:** The SLEARN reserve is designed
to maintain a 1:1 backing of all tokens in circulation. However, operational
efficiency and community growth may generate a surplus. This surplus may be
allocated to develop and maintain the pdJ ecosystem and we will inform its
usage in the [transparency dashboard](https://learn.tg/en/transparency).

### 6.2 Adaptive Governance
To adapt to market and operational situations, in the first 3 phases of SLEARN, the
founder and operator pdJ (Pasos de JesĂşs = Steps of Jesus) will adjust percentages
and formulas subject to:
- Transparency: Published on the [Transparency Dashboard](https://learn.tg/en/transparency) at least 30 days in advance.
- Limits: The allocation to the SLEARN Reserve will always exceed the value of
SLEARN in circulation.
- Community Notification: Announced via Telegram/WhatsApp groups.
In Phase 4, the protocol will transition to a two-chamber model:
1. **Learner House:** Meritocratic voting based on course completion.
2. **Donor House:** Weighted by historical contributions.

### 9. Roadmap
- **Phase 1 (April 2026):** Celo Sepolia deployment and community feedback.
- **Phase 2 (June 1, 2026):** Mainnet launch.
We will not set a maximum supply because value of SLEARN depends on its utility
as a learning reward not on scarcity. There won’t be an ICO; we will convert 1:1
Learning Points gained at learn.tg, sivel.xyz and stable-sl.pdJ.app to SLEARN.
- **Phase 3:** SLEARN ↔ SLE swap activation. Post-education utility.
Currently operated via verified human agents with on-chain attestation.
Automated Orange Money merchant payout integration will be introduced
as regulatory frameworks and API availability permit.
- **Phase 4:** Implementation of the two-chamber governance model.

_ **How can I earn SLEARN?** _
Do the following before June 1, 2026:
- Verify your identity in [learn.tg](https://learn.tg) with self and solve crosswords → 1 Learning Point per crossword
- Donate 0.02 USDT or more on [sivel.xyz](https://sivel.xyz) → 1 Learning Point per donation (first 100 donations only)
- Donate to courses on [learn.tg](https://learn.tg) → points are proportional to the amount
On June 1, all your Learning Points turn into SLEARN (1:1) in your wallet.
_ **Can I send SLEARN to someone else? Can I cash it out?** _
No, you cannot send SLEARN to anyone.
- Use SLEARN to pay for premium courses on learn.tg (that’s what it’s for).
- If you live in Sierra Leone **and** you’ve already paid for a premium course with SLEARN, in the phase 3 you will be able to exchange SLEARN for Leones (SLE) on [stable-sl.pdJ.app](https://stable-sl.pdJ.app).
_ **Is SLEARN a stablecoin?** _
Kind of, but better: 1 SLEARN = at least 1 Leone (SLE).
If the Leone goes up, SLEARN goes up with it. If the Leone drops, SLEARN doesn’t drop below 4.5 cents USD.
_ **Who can use SLEARN?** _
Anyone with a verified learn.tg account.
- Outside Sierra Leone: only for paying courses.
- In Sierra Leone: same as above, plus you can turn SLEARN into Leones (after you’ve paid for at least one course).
_ **Where can I see how many SLEARN exist, reserves, etc?** _

Right now it shows users, points, USDT/CELO given. After launch (June 1) it will also show SLEARN supply, burned tokens, and reserve balances.

Hi everyone – just a quick update on SLEARN and [https://learn.tg](https://learn.tg).
1. **Launch & conversion** – By God’s grace, we minted SLEARN into the wallets of everyone who had Learning Points on June 2nd. You can see a short demo of how to view SLEARN in the OneKey wallet here:

2. **Platform improvements** – Each course now has **two possible scholarships** : one in USDT (once per guide) and one in SLEARN (once per guide). The 24‑hour cooldown now applies **only to correctly solved guides**. When a student completes all guides of a course, they receive an **SBT** that certifies the achievement.
3. **Earning SLEARN again** – Users whose Learning Points were converted to SLEARN at launch **can earn SLEARN again** by completing guides (the SLEARN scholarship is available again). This makes the learning‑to‑earn loop continuous.
4. **Whitepaper updated** – The whitepaper has been minimally adjusted and now includes the post‑launch data. The full document and its change history are available on GitHub:
