Hi! I found that [https://superbridge.app/](https://superbridge.app/) is not allowed to bridge WETH from Celo to Etherium. There are not any other solutions to do it without high price impact. Why Native Celo Bridge does not allow to do it? ---

@aaronmgdr @martinvol could you or anyone technical help here if there are other options for ETH/WETH 1:1 bridging from Celo because most of the options available for him have a high price impact ---

it really depends on what type of WETH you have. I had this exact same problem myself and the only solution i found was to bridge the weth back over the exact same bridge it originated on (look a the contract it will tell you the name) and then convert once it was back in ethereum. but small amount was pretty quick but larger amount got stuck for me and i had to push it along. not a good feeling. BTW i dont work at clabs anymore. just answering this off my own experience. ---

Yeah he wants native route for a 1:1 weth bridging from Celo to ethereum which doesn’t seem to be possible via superbridge ---

It’s odd that the superbridge isn’t supporting the native route. It’s a plan op stack withdrawal. I’d try filling a bug on super bridge because my understanding is that superbridges bread and butter is op stack native deposits and withdrawals The advanced move is to point Claude / codex at > **[Withdrawals](https://viem.sh/op-stack/guides/withdrawals)** > > Build reliable Ethereum apps & libraries with lightweight, composable, & type-safe modules from viem. And do the withdrawal yourself. ---

Hi all, Alex from Superbridge here. Celo uses CELO as its gas token, which means bridging ETH directly into Celo is not possible. With the help of the [SuperbridgeETHWrapper](https://docs.celo.org/home/bridged-tokens/native-ETH-bridging) we can faciliate ETH on Ethereum → WETH on Celo in one click. So concretely, the native bridge routes we support for ETH/WETH are, 1. ETH on Ethereum → WETH on Celo (via the SuperbridgeETHWrapper) 2. WETH on Ethereum → WETH on Celo (via the standard native bridge flow) 3. WETH on Celo → WETH on Ethereum (via the standard native bridge flow) There’s no native bridge route possible for WETH on Celo → ETH on Ethereum. ---
