# Local node not syncing

I am trying to run a mainet validator and using [Running a Celo Validator | Celo Documentation](https://docs.celo.org/getting-started/mainnet/running-a-validator-in-mainnet). But I am having issue with local node as its sync status remains false, I tried to do it from scratch again but still it shows same issue. I am starting node with below command as mentioned in same guide.

> _#docker run --name celo-accounts -it --restart always --stop-timeout 300 -p 127.0.0.1:8545:8545 -v $PWD:/root/.celo $CELO\_IMAGE --verbosity 3 --syncmode full --http --http.addr 0.0.0.0 --http.api eth,net,web3,debug,admin,personal --datadir /root/.celo_

OS Release  
DISTRIB\_ID=Ubuntu  
DISTRIB\_RELEASE=20.04  
DISTRIB\_CODENAME=focal  
DISTRIB\_DESCRIPTION=“Ubuntu 20.04.3 LTS”

Please guide me if I am missing anything.
