**Version Compatiblity**
For those who use a Ledger device with Celo. There are new versions out for both LedgerLive [2.94.0](https://github.com/LedgerHQ/ledger-live/releases/tag/%40ledgerhq%2Flive-desktop%402.94.0) and the on-device celo app (1.3.2).

LedgerLive (2.94) is compatible with both Celo app 1.3.2 and the previous public release of the on-device ap (1.1.0). Previous versions of Ledger Live only work with 1.1.0

Also for those that use _celocli_ 6.0.0 has the best support for both 1.1.0 and 1.3.2 of the celo-ledger app.

To sign transactions compatible with CEL2 you MUST upgrade to 1.3.2.

**How to Upgrade?**

- Ledger Live [update](https://support.ledger.com/article/4410960111889-zd)

- Celo App for Ledger can be updated in LedgerLive. [Update All](https://support.ledger.com/article/8458939792669-zd) or [Update App](https://support.ledger.com/article/4404382258961-zd)

Happy New Year,
Aaron

_Note it is also possible to use the eth ledger app on the celo chain. But not with celocli or LedgerLive._
