# Discussion on Celo Epoch Rewards

After some reflection and weighting the good arguments on both sides after yesterday’s governance call I’d like to move forward with a compromise for CGP 35 and 36:

- **Propose to reduce the [Epoch Rewards Community Fund share from 25% to 15%](https://forum.celo.org/t/community-fund-cgp-35-and-how-can-we-use-those-funds/1250/18)**.
- **Withdraw [CGP 36: Increasing validator rewards](https://forum.celo.org/t/discussion-on-validator-rewards/1163/14)**
