Bogdan and I have selected Curve for this concrete proposal created by us but that does not mean that there cannot be an Ubeswap proposal as well. I personally am very open to that. In the end, Celo governance has to decide on these things and Mento Labs has no gatekeeper power/role in this system - the Curve proposal is really more of a suggestion from me and Bogdan personally, instead of a Mento Labs proposal. So please feel free to start a separate discussion around this in the forum and see whether you can rally up support for a Ubeswap liquidity allocation from the reserve. If you need some advice on the process etc, I am happy to help, just DM me!

Ubeswap would love to move forward on this. Is there a reason why Mento prefers Stableswap pools rather than Concentrated Liquidity pools?

No strong preference on my (personal) end of Stableswap over Concentrated liquidity. I think Stableswap pools are a bit easier to operate in the USD-to-USD token case but both work fine I guess.
